Vermicomposting Reactor: Product Testing and Commercialization
• This Project had two phases ( Proposal # 99 - 03201): started in 1998 and ended in November 2000
Suppression of Plant Pests and Diseases and Human Pathogens By Food Waste Vermicomposting
• Phase I May 2002 - November 2003 ( Proposal # 2002– 00083)
• Phase II October 2003 - March 2004 ( Proposal # 2003 - 04048)
Current Projects:
• Effects of aqueous extracts from Vermicompost (teas)
• On crop growth and in suppressing plant diseases,
• Nematodes and arthropod pests
• Phase I May 2006 - November 2006 (Proposal #2006-00053)
• Phase II, started in September of 2007
• Preliminary report: June 2008
• Project ending June 2009
